The confident heart

A confident heart is what we should desire to live with everyday of our lives! Confidence in Jesus and confidence in who we are in Him equals a confident heart.  This confident heart is what will help you rise and succeed in every area of life. Sometimes the world seems so big, with so many things going on that we can feel lost in the rush. So I want to remind you that you are not lost, you are found. Found in the arms of the one who loves you and gave His life for you.

You are not just going through life’s day to day activities as just another somebody. The King of Kings is with you.  He holds your hand, whispering to you, “I see you, I love you, I am with you always and I am proud of you!” I want you to be conscious today of God’s overwhelming love and acceptance of you.

You are not just one more person in the masses; you are chosen and handpicked by the maker of heaven and earth. Gosh, that excites me, I hope it excites you.

When you know, believe, and see how loved you are by your Father, it causes a confidence to rise from within your heart. That confidence settles the rough seas of our soul. You’re not just a somebody, your’re God’s special someone. You’re His child and He takes such great joy in you. He delights in you and rejoices over you. He loves you with crazy extravagant love and fervent passion. He loves you the way most everyone dreams of being loved. That dream is your reality! That kind of love belongs to you!

Let this sink deep into your heart and touch your soul in the deepest places. It’s this kind of understanding that has radically changed my life and daily keeps me on course.

I want to leave you with one of my favorite passages that has changed my heart forever. I continue to read it and keep it in the front of my thinking. I encourage you to do the same.

Psalms 139:13-18 NIV

For you created my inmost being;     you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;     your works are wonderful,     I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you     when I was made in the secret place,     when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;     all the days ordained for me were written in your book     before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!     How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them,     they would outnumber the grains of sand—     when I awake, I am still with you.

In these verses we find the confident heart we all desire to have!

I pray you are blessed and favored! Have a wonderful weekend.

Leave me a comment with your thoughts and what’s going on in your life, I always love to hear from you!

Love, Rachel xoxo
